Renault has started dispatching the upcoming Captur crossover to dealership showrooms across the country. The crossover will make its launch in the Indian market on November 6. Renault Captur is expected to be getting an exclusive showroom price starting from Rs 11 lakhs and would go up to around Rs. 15 lakhs.

Based on the M0 platform that also underpins the Duster, the Captur measures 4,329mm in length, 1,813mm in width and 1,613mm in height with a wheelbase of 2,673mm, while it has a ground clearance of 210mm. The top-spec version called as Platine would include LED headlight with daytime running lights, dynamic turn indicators and will ride on 17 inch alloy wheels, while for the safety, it would come with dual front airbags, ABS with EBD and brake assist. The car is also said to be certified for offset frontal and lateral crash.
Mechanically, the Renault Captur would be available in both petrol and diesel fuel type. The petrol variant gets a 1.5-litre engine that will crank out a maximum power of 106 bhp and would come paired to a 5-speed manual transmission, while the diesel version is also a 1.5-litre oil burner that would belt out 110bhp of maximum power when mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox.
Officially, Renault has opened the booking for the Captur crossover.
