Renault India have announced the reaching of a new milestone by clocking sales of over one lakh units of its hugely popular, Renault Duster SUV in a short span of two years since the model’s debut in the country. The feat has officially made the Duster one of the best-selling cars worldwide for the French automaker.
To celebrate the achievement, Renault has rolled out a special edition model of the SUV called, ‘Duster 1 Lakh Limited Edition’ at Rs 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom, India.) The Limited Edition Duster will be sold in the country only through June and brings to the table few cosmetic updates such as a new exterior paint option called ‘Cosmos Blue’ and new decals on the side.
The Renault Duster is sold in more than 100 countries worldwide and India is now one among the top five nations who contribute significantly to the overall sales of the SUV. The French automaker recently, announced the production of over one million units of the Duster SUV across the globe in the past four years.
