One of the fastest growing automotive companies in the country, Renault has posted an incredible domestic sales growth of 211 percent by selling 12,426 units in April 2016 compared to the 4,001 units sold in the April last year. While Ford India sold a total of 16,470 units in April 2016 as against the 14,215 units in the corresponding month last year, up by 15.86 percent. The domestic sales rose 32.44 percent to 6,531 units last month compared to 4,931 units in the same period a year ago and the exports grew by 7.05 percent to 9,939 units from 9,284 units in April 2015.
Speaking on the company’s sales performance, Mr Sumit Sawhney, Country CEO and Managing Director, Renault India Operations said, “We are grateful to our customers for the confidence and trust bestowed in the Renault brand which is reflected in the ever increasing surge in the monthly sales.
