Renault India appoints Rafael Treguer as new VP Sales & Marketing

French automakers, Renault Motors has appointed Rafael Treguer as their new Vice president, Sales & Marketing for India operations. Rafael will be based out in Chennai and will be responsible for sales, marketing, after sales and network development. He will be reporting directly to Sumit Sawhney, Renault's India CEO & MD.

Prior to his appointment as VP, Sales & Marketing for Renault India, Rafael had a plethora of experience in automobile industry with career spanning more than 20 years. His former role was as the GM Sales & Marketing of Dacia brand, a subsidiary of Renault Group. His previous assignments also includes working as the MD for Dacia and Renault in Romania and Director of Commercial range in Marketing Direction Worldwide.

Renault India is one of the fastest growing automobile companies in India, which is consolidating its presence and is gearing up for future launches to augment the Renault brand in India.”, said Treguer, V.P -Sales & Marketing for Renault India.

Also speaking about the appointment of Treguer, Sumit Sawhney, CEO & MD – Renault India said, “We welcome Rafael in Renault India and are confident that his vast experience and understanding of the dynamics of the international automobile industry will provide necessary impetus to maintain the leadership position as the number one European brand in India.”
