The interior upgrades include a touch screen infotainment system with satellite navigation, which also has Bluetooth and AUX connectivity. A 3D sound system by french specialist Arkamys, is also amongst the enhanced features. Other new additions include an engine start & stop button, rain sensing wipers, dusk sensing headlamps, dual tone soft-touch dashboard, 'follow me home' headlamps and electrically adjustable side-view mirrors.
The car also offers a host of passive and active safety features, including front and side airbags, electronic stability programme (ESP), anti-lock braking system (ABS) with electronic brake force distribution (EBD) and Brake assist.
The new Renault Fluence remains mechanically identical to its current sibling. It still gets its old t 1.5 litre dCI motor, mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. The motor churns out 110 bhp and 240 Nm of peak torque. The engine returns an ARAI tested fuel economy of 20.4 kmpl.
