For Renault, innovation means introducing features and services that are people centric, addressing real customer needs. The Renault Lodgy will redefine the segment as a complete 'Multi-Purpose Vehicle' and deliver best in segment performance, reconfirming Renault's commitment to Drive the Change as we have done with Duster in the recent past" As compared to the international version of Lodgy, which is sold under Dacia badging, the India-spec model is going to feature extra chrome detailing on the front grille.
Inside the cabin, the Renault Lodgy MPV top-end trim might boast a Duster-sourced touchscreen infotainment system. It would be powered by a 1.5L, four-cylinder, K9K diesel engine, while the power and torque figures are unknown. The engine, depending on the power output, would be linked to either a 5-speed manual gearbox or a 6-speed manual transmission. Renault would locally manufacture the Lodgy at its production facility in Oragadam, Chennai, which is also shared by Nissan. It is expecte to arrive in a price range of Rs. 7-10 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom), while competing against the current lot of MPVs such as Mahindra Xylo, Chevrolet Enjoy, Maruti Ertiga, Honda Mobilio.
