Renault Triber recently marked its world premiere in New Delhi, India and the latest buzz doing the rounds in the automotive industry is regarding an official announcement apparently from the French automaker’s India wing on the launch date of the new Renault Triber.
Renault India has confirmed that the much-awaited Triber MPV is set to be launched by the first half of August 2019 and subsequently reach Renault dealerships all over the country.
In fact, in almost two years’ time, the new French offering comes as Renault’s first all-new vehicle in India. The Renault Triber MPV will play a very major role in order to comply with the French automaker’s strategy and plan to double its overall sales figures in the Indian market by the year 2022.
The Renault Triber engine is a 72.5bhp, 1.0-litre petrol motor, paired to either a five-speed AMT automatic transmission or a five-speed manual gearbox. It is also expected that apart from the aforementioned engine options, there might be a new Renault 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol motor in the Renault Triber multi-purpose vehicle, eventually sometime later.
Once Renault launches its new MPV, it is expected that the Triber price in India may be set at approximately Rs 5 lakh (ex-showroom).
