Tata Tiago is touted by many as the best Tata product yet, with its newly developed and refined set of engines, modern looks and host of features along with the killer price tag. Tata Motors was quick enough to sense the anticipation of customers and announced the Tiago based compact sedan, called the Kite 5 sedan for now.
While many loved the Tata Tiago Aktiv concept showcased at the Auto Expo 2016, an independent designer came up with a unique design of Tata Kite 5 and re-imagined it as a hot hatch. The renderings were made by Tarun Samuel, who gave the compact sedan a premium hatchback look, and with some body kit added, made it look sporty.
The Tata Kite 5 hatchback renderings are made with body kit around the car, large rims, redesigned headlights and a touch of blue highlighting on the silver paint job. And it surely looks drool worthy, ready to take on some of the big names like Maruti Suzuki Baleno RS, Volkswagen Polo GT and Hyundai Elite i20.
As for the Kite 5 itself, the sub 4-metre sedan is expected to be launched around the festival season in the country and will be the least expensive sedan on offer, just like its hatchback sibling, Tata Tiago which starts at just Rs 3.20 lakhs. Tata Kite 5 will share most of its components and engine from the Tiago, except the class leading boot of 420 litre.
