Back in time Honda came up with the CB1100R concept that became popular among the motorcycle world as soon as it was revealed. If news from Japan based Young Machine is to be believed, Honda is working on a 900cc motorcycle that will be based on the bigger CB1100R concept.

According to the report the new 900cc motorcycle will be tagged as CB900R. It didn’t surprise us as apart from Honda, all other major motorcycle manufacturers are unveiling their retro creations to the world. Ducati Scrambler, BMW R NineT and Yamaha Bolt Café Racer are a sign how Retro styling is coming back to life. The new CB900R will be inspired from its bigger sibling and it will feature the similar twin headlamps sealed in a fat round fairing just like the CB1100R. Engine powering the motorcycle will be a 900cc unit based on the 1100cc mill from CB1100R. More details are not available at the moment but it is expected that CB900R will be showcased for the first time at the Tokyo Motor Show 2015 that happens around the October end. CB1100R concept was stunning and we are desperatly waiting for the CB900R now.
