Volkswagen has revealed a new hatchback concept named Fox Pepper based on the Volkswagen Fox hatchback, which is a very popular car in Brazil. Volkswagn is going to present it as a youth oriented car, which is young and adventurous. The Fox Pepper details are officially revealed, along with a few exterior images. In the recently revealed pictures, it is seen in a Red Tornado exterior with various updates inspired by the new Golf GTI.
Based on Fox hatchback, it will receive a new front bumper design and plastic body cladding, while it will be seen with a honeycomb grille, a black roof and will sit on 15” alloy wheels. To add to its sporty appeal, the new Fox Pepper will receive a black roof with special paint and premium finish.
Power will come in via a 1.6 liter engine offering 120 bhp peak power. This engine allows Fox Pepper to accelerate from 0 to 100 in 9.8 seconds and reach a top speed of 189 kmph while mated to a new manual six-speed transmission. It will have two tone leather seats with red air vents and distinctive Fox Pepper badging.
The new Volkswagen Fox Pepper comes in with a host of safety features which will include Electronic Control stability (ESC) and traction control (TC and ASR). Technology on board Fox Pepper is a browser RN315 radio which is also seen on the Passat, CC and Tiguan. It has a 5.5 inch touchscreen, Bluetooth system and AM/FM receiver with CD player and MP3 with WMA audio auxiliary inputs.
We don't know, if we will receive the car here in India, but we surely want this funky looking car here.
