Rod Copes is President of North America for Royal Enfield

Royal Enfield has roped in Rod Copes as its President of North America. The veteran in the American market will be responsible for driving Royal Enfield's business in United States and Canada. This move from Royal Enfield has confirmed the company's intentions of making it big in the continent.
Rod has worked with Harley Davidson previously for 20 years and was working as Head of Global Sales and Customer Service there before quitting in late 2012. He is considered to be the main guy behind Harley's global expansion including entering markets like Singapore, Miami (Latin America), New Delhi, Moscow, Dubai, Saul Paulo, Shanghai, Prague, Athens and Seoul. This announcement is also important for the company as Royal Enfield recently launched its Continental GT in North America hoping to bring back the rocker culture from the 1960s. The bike is expected to create some buzz on the American soil because of its useable power and a highly competitive price of $5,999.

Commenting on his new role, the MBA degree holder from M.I.T. said, "My association with Royal Enfield goes back to my early days in India when I first met Siddhartha.
