Rolls Royce, the British ultra luxury car manufacturer launched its mid life refreshed Ghost II in India at Rs 4.5 crore (ex-showroom, pan India). First showcased at the Geneva Motor Show, the car made its India entry at the launch event in Mumbai today. This will be the cheapest offering from the brand in India. Rolls Royce will sell the car from its current dealerships at Delhi, Mumbai, Chandigarh and Hyderabad.
The refreshed version of the previous generation Ghost has received some minor tweaks both inside and outside the car. The Ghost Series II will receive now: LED DRLs in a new shape, newly designed front and rear bumpers, and refreshed a turn signal indicator. The front bumper will get a larger intake and a slightly forward tilted 'Spirit of Ecstasy.' The exterior changes also include a new paint scheme and all new alloy wheel design.
Rolls Royce hasn’t made any changes to the powertrain and is powered by the same 6.6 liter twin turbocharged V12 that produces 563bhp and 780 Nm of torque. The power will be sent to the wheels via a 8-speed ZF automatic transmission that performed its duty on the outgoing model. On the inside, the Series II is equipped with all new seats and an updated infotainment system.
The face-lifted model will be available in SWB and EWB variants.
