Rolls Royce is one the most premium car manufacturer in the world and by virtue of it, sales figures are something they can't boast of. But with the increase in the GDP's of countries and people getting richer day by day, a ray of hope has been generated for Rolls Royce, a hope to touch 4000 unit sales figure this year.
The British brand used to sell mere 1000 units a year not before a decade ago, when they had only one product in their portfolio, the Phantom. But over the time they started diversifying their portfolio and included Phantom Coupe and later Ghost in 2010, increasing their sales figure, a head strong 3000 units a year.
But with the addition of the Wraith this year and the as the reach of Rolls Royce increases in many countries, the Spirit of Ecstasy is hopeful of touching the 4000 unit mark this year. Rolls Royce reached close to this mark also because of some well known business houses getting bulk cars from RR. One such example is the latest 30 car order by Stephen Hung of Macau.
Although these figures are no match to the one-time sister, another U.K based brand, Bentley, who are doing a handsome 10000 unit a year business, but then, RR offers much more premium at higher cost added with the King size brand image. Rolls Royce, a part of BMW group now and is also planning on an SUV project in future, which will further push the sales for them.
