Rosberg defeats champion Hamilton in Mexican GP

Snapshot: Nico Rosberg won crucial 25 points, that brings him back to the second spot ahead of Vettel with 21 clear points difference.

Although too late for Nico Rosberg, the German won the 2015 Mexican GP, defeating his team mate, and already crowned world champion Lewis Hamilton in a superb race. The return of F1 at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez saw Valtteri Bottas clinch the third spot driving his Williams, as both the Ferraris faced DNF, their first since 2006.

Nico Rosberg started from pole, his fourth in a row and cashed on the start from ahead to win crucial 25 points, that brings him back to the second spot ahead of Vettel with 21 clear points difference. Daniil Kvyat finished fourth ahead of his team mate Daniel Ricciardo in the Red Bull car. Felipe Massa, driving the second Williams finished sixth.

Force India's Sergio Perez, who was racing at his home track finished eighth behind his team mate Nico Hulkenberg. Toro Rosso’s Max Verstappen and Lotus' Romain Grosjean finished ninth and tenth respectively to complete the top ten. With only two races remaining in the season, the fight is for the second and third spot!
