Royal Enfield has re-launched its Bullet motorcycle range with the addition of a rear disc brake setup. The compulsory ABS setup would follow soon, which is mandatory as per the new safety rules guidelines for motor vehicles, with effect from 1st April 2019.
Prior to the rear disc brake setup, the Bullet motorcycles only had a disc system at the front and a drum brake at the rear. The Royal Enfield Bullet rear disc brake models prices range from Rs. 1.28 lakhs, Rs. 1.32 lakhs and Rs. 1.73 lakhs for the Bullet 350, 350 ES and Bullet 500 respectively (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The Bullet 350 and the 350 ES house the same 346cc, single-cylinder motor that churns 20 HP of power and 28 Nm of peak torque. The Bullet 500 houses a bigger 499cc motor which can generate 28 HP and 41.3 Nm of max torque. The suspension duties in the Royal EnfieldBullet range is handled by the same telescopic forks at the front and twin shock absorbers at the rear.
Apart from the rear disc brake setup, the motorcycles do not get any other upgrades.
