The much hype around the soon-to-be-launched Royal Enfield 650 twins hadn’t even sunk in, that the iconic Indian brand has dropped a teaser picture of a new motorcycle via its social media circles, which apparently looks like a bobber-styled bike that is set for an unveiling at EICMA 2018.
Even as all eyes are set at the 2018 EICMA motorcycle show in Milan, Royal Enfield, without disclosing much, has only announced the unveiling date of this mystery bike which will be on 06th November 2018.
However, we can interpret certain aspects evident from the teaser image, which by now must be viral already leaving the motorcycling community across the globe in a frenzy. The bike apparently sports LED DRLs on the round headlamp and alloy wheels. And along the long flat handlebar what also seems inevitable is a raised instrument console. Similar to the Triumph Bobber, this bike has a cantilevered single seat and borrows an impression of the sprung seat on the current Classic 350 and 500.
Nonetheless, what remains hard to crack is whether this new machine takes a cue from the existing 500cc and 350cc single-cylinder platform or the new 650cc twins. And the silhouette of the long, low exhaust muffler suggests that the bike could most likely be based on the Classic 500.
Now, as they say, patience bears fruit, only time will tell what’s in store for every motorcycle enthusiast. We’ll wait and watch as the mystery unfolds off this bike for more details as we keep a close watch throughout EICMA 2018.
