Only a few days after the first ever spy shots of the upcoming highly anticipated Royal Enfield Himalayan came out, our friends at gaadiwaadi.com have land their hands on another set of spy images of the Himalayan undergoing testing, this time around the images are clearer and show the silhouette of the bike in better light.

The Himalayan in the pictures here looks a lot like the model spotted previously, however, there is one particularly big difference in the exhaust design as compared to the earlier one. The new exhaust look way more sporty than the old stock Continental GT ones with its upswept design, with a two tone finish. Further details stay true to the rendering that we did for the same some time back with the single piece handlebar doing the duty instead of the GT's clip-on bars, the meter console and the headlight, both, seem to have been taken from the GT itself and should keep the prices in check.

Your Complete coverage for RE Himalayan is here!!

Expected to come with a new range of engines based on the widely talked about 750cc parallel Twin engine from RE, the single cyclinder unit on the Himalayan is expected to be in the range of 400-410cc. The new engines are said to be better performers than the current series and we will not be surprised to see a higher rpm range of 6500-7000 rpm for these meaning more power alongwith the characteristic thump of the RE's. Saying that, we are expecting the new engines to have a performance much higher than the present 350cc units.

The pictures also clear the fact that the Himalayan might just be the tallest RE in production when it goes to the production lines, this would enable its riders to go further in the no-road territories. Features such as blacked out front forks that have dust protectors and fenders at the front reminiscent of the Continental GT's, a monoshock suspension at the rear and a new fuel-tank. The ergonomics, similar to many Royal Enfield motorcycles, appear to be straight-forward and relaxed that is likely to help the riders munch more miles between intervals.
