Royal Enfield impresses again in July
Snapshot: The Eicher owned company sold 27,314 motorcycles this July which is 80% more than what it sold last year for the same month
The feather in Eicher's cap, Royal Enfield. has emerged as a clear winner in July 2014. The company released its sales figures for the month of July which states that the number of units sold in the particular month are 27,314 which is 80% more than the units sold in July 2013. Out of these figures, domestic sales accounted for 26,796 units whereas the exports reached a new figure of 518.
These figures are also the best ever monthly sales figures for the Chennai based two-wheeler manufacturer. With new launches in terms of models (Continental GT) and new paint schemes for different models, Royal Enfield is on a spree to woo its fans across the globe. With events like Himalayan Odyssey and REunion, Royal Enfield has carved a niche for itself in the world of motorcycle travelling.
Royal Enfield also has decided to go places by collaborating with Colombia's Corbeta Group. Under this joint venture, Corbeta Group will be responsible for importing, supplying, marketing, selling, distributing and servicing Royal Enfields in the Colombian market.
