Royal Enfield plans launching a new product every year from 2016

Snapshot: Good news for RE fans, company will be coming up with a new motorcycle every year till next five years in the line

In last few years Royal Enfield has grown faster than time and now they have a concrete presence in the middle segment motorcycles. The Indian motorcycle giant Royal Enfield has come up with some new plans to further take over the motorcycle market. Since last few years Royal Enfield has experienced tremendous growth in its sales and from recent data RE’s sales percentage is upped by 41%. Royal Enfield has expanded their dealership network all around the world and last week only they launched a new showroom in Dubai.

Last few years have been glorious for Royal Enfield and it looks like they their future plans are going in the right directions. Royal Enfield has decided to launch a new product every year starting from next year. Recently, Royal Enfield’s new project ‘Himalayan’ was caught testing few times in the past few months, and we are quite sure that same will be launched next year. Royal Enfield will launch motorcycles ranging from 250cc to 750cc in coming time. Royal Enfield has invested quite a huge amount of INR 500 crore in the research and development of their future products. Presently the production capacity of RE’s manufacturing plant is up to 30,000 units per year and from next year RE has planned to expand the production capacity to 50,000 units every year. This expansion of the manufacturing plant will result reduced waiting period of the newly booked Royal Enfield.
