Royal Enfield records 31 per cent growth for the month of July 2016

The Chennai based motorcycle making firm, Royal Enfield has recorded concrete growth of straight 31 per cent for the month of July 2016. The company sold a total of 53,378 motorcycle units last month which includes domestic sales as well as total exports. Royal Enfield recorded a ground breaking 40 per cent growth in export figures as the company exported 1250 units in July 2016 when compared to 893 units exported in the corresponding month last year.
Though all the models from the company are in high demand but it is the Classic 350 which is the most smashing hit among all. Classic 350 contributes to 25,000 units every month, which makes every second Royal Enfield sold is a Classic 350. The company also launched the Himalayan few months back and the motorcycle have seemed to receive an overwhelming response from the market. Though many customers have reported reliability and part quality issues regarding the same but despite that Himalayan is selling in a good number and sales seems to remain unaffected. Royal Enfield also increased its production capacity to help deliver the booked motorcycles on time. Royal Enfield currently operates 566 dealerships across the country and the count is growing rapidly with time. Recently the company also ventured into international bike market in a full-fledged form and the market is responding back with open arms.
