Some of the selected Honda dealerships in the country has commenced the bookings for the upcoming CB Hornet 160R in India. Honda showcased the CB Hornet at the RevFest event and it is scheduled to go on sale in December this year. Indian market is quite a competitive market when it comes to sub 200cc motorcycles, it is already ruled by the offerings like Suzuki Gixxer 150 and Yamaha FZ16. Honda CB Hornet 160 looks like a promising motorcycle and finally Honda has introduced quite an eye catcher in this segment.

Honda showcased a similar concept CX-01 at the 2014 AutoExpo and CB Hornet 160 seems to have drawn inspiration from the same. CB Hornet flaunts a muscular tank with GT inspired stripe, edgy body cowls, sharp extended side panels and raised rear seat and exhaust. It features dual disc brakes, LED tail lamp and fully digitized instrumental cluster. We expect its 160cc engine unit to deliver anything around 15-16bhp of power. As it will fare against Gixxer and FZ16, it is expected that Honda will price it anywhere between INR 80 to 90K. Share your views on the same in the comment section below.
