Skoda India, in association with SGA Cars India, has inaugurated its biggest service centre in the country. The largest service facility has been opened in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. Adorning the company's new Corporate Identity and Design, the state of the art service outlet was inaugurated by Mr. Zac Hollis, Director – Sales, Service and Marketing, ŠKODA AUTO India and Mr. S. Arputharaj, Dealer Principal, SGA Cars India. The Czech-Republican based automaker is committed to double the sales network across fifty cities in the next three years under the the 'INDIA 2.0' project.
Speaking on the inauguration of the new facility, Mr. Zac Hollis, Director – Sales, Service, and Marketing, ŠKODA AUTO India Pvt. Ltd. said that the company is ready to strengthen its presence in the southern markets in India. The dimensions of the new facility are a reflection of the region's potential for the brand. The brand is confident that its association with SGA Cars India will play an significant role, in scaling up the brand, by offering the buyers a hassle-free ownership experience and utmost PEACE OF MIND. The new service facility is located at the Uppilipalayam Main Road, Sowripalayam while being spread in an area of 49,585 sq. ft. (4,607 sq. m.). It comprises of 50 bays with a capacity to service 20,000 cars per year.

The state of the art service infrastructure and optimized business processes will enable the company to deliver a never-seen-before service experience. The advancement of ŠKODA makes us more confident and committed to our valued customers. The service facility will have 40 dedicated aftersales personnel and a rainwater harvesting plant. Skoda's product portfolio in the Indian market comprises of four vehicles: Rapid, Octavia, Superb and Kodiaq. The company's next big ticket launch in India would be the Karoq SUV, which will be placed below the Kodiaq.
