Skoda India has announced the 24X7 Roadside Assistance program (RSA) to its customers, across the entire model range sold in the country starting from 1st of August 2014. The service will be valid for a period of two years and will benefit customers who are not covered under standard Roadside Assistance Program. The RSA program will also be offered to those customers who wish to extend their coverage of this service.

The 2 years Roadside Assistance Program can be availed at Rs 3,233 for vehicles that are less than five years old and at Rs 4,233 for vehicles more than five years old. Under the program, the customers can rest assured to be assisted in case of breakdowns or accidents, no matter where the customer is located.

Some of the key features covered in the RSA program includes, on-site minor repairs, battery jump start, fuel delivery, tyre replacement, replacement of keys, towing, taxi service, breakdown support on phone and emergency message relay.

The RSA program can be purchased from any authorised Skoda dealerships across the country. Skoda states that ‘the program is strictly not a part of the regular service program and does not substitute the need for regular maintenance carried out in the Skoda authorised workshops.”
