Skoda India has launched the Zeal limited edition across its entire range offered in the country. The Zeal limited edition would be available with Rapid, Octavia, Yeti and Superb on authorized company dealerships from March 9, 2015 onwards. All the Zeal edition models get black interiors, except for Rapid which gets some added features as well, inside the cabin.
Talking about the Skoda Rapid Zeal Edition, it boasts exquisite features such as rear parking sensors, a GPS system, floor mats, reverse camera, leatherette and Alcantara seats and an Observation mirror (conversation mirror). It is on offer as a kit with the Ambition, Elegance and Elegance Plus grades. And, with the other models like Superb, Yeti and Octavia, the Zeal Edition comes with a black interior which features black Alcantara leather seats, a black dashboard and black door trims. The Zeal edition bears no mechanical changes in all the cars and the same engines continue to duty the cars.
Currently, Skoda's arsenal in India consists of four cars - Rapid, Octavia, Yeti and Superb. In February 2015, the company managed to sell around 1270 units of its vehicles. The highest seller for the company was Rapid whose 910 units were sold, whereas Yeti - despite being face-lifted - managed to sell just 7 units. Skoda has plans to bring the new-generation of its flagship sedan Superb in the country next year, which made its public debut at the recently concluded 2015 Geneva Motor Show.
