Skoda has refreshed the existing version of the Skoda Superb with subtle upgrades. The front fascia comes with a narrow but full LED Matrix headlamps. The unveiled Skoda Octavia Facelift also spotted a similar Matrix headlight.
Besides, the updated version gets a significant radiator grille along with double slats that extend to the refurbished bumpers. It results in increasing the length of the vehicle to 4,869mm.
The rear portion gets a new pair of LED tail lamps with redesigned rear indicators. An extended chrome strip at the rear perches itself between the refurbished tail lamps. Spy shots also revealed the Skoda lettering on the boot-lid.
The Skoda Superb Facelift interior gets innovative trims from the dashboard and center console. The Alcantara seats get new upholstery stitching, and the same is available on the doors and the armrests. The Ambition and Style variants also receive new seat covers.
Enhancements to the safety aspects include Emergency Assist feature for multiple-lane highways, Predictive Cruise Control, and a Front Assist feature that provides for Predictive Pedestrian Protection.
The inclusion of the electromechanical brake booster the availability of aerodynamic covers for the rear axle suspension can improve the stability factor of the car.

The 2020 Skoda Superb Facelift comes with a plug-in hybrid version with the iV suffix. This vehicle features a 1.4L TSI petrol motor capable of delivering 156ps power and an 85kW electric motor that provides 115ps power. The combined system produces power of 218ps and torque of 400Nm, as it mates with a 6-speed DSG.
