Czech Republic based auto manufacturer Skoda Motors today launched a facelift version of their crossover 'Yeti'. Available in both 4*2 and 4*4 versions, it is priced at Rs 18.63 lakh and Rs 20.14 lakh respectively (ex showroom Maharashtra). However only one 'Elegance' trim has been provided. Skoda updated Yeti with some cosmetic tweaks both outside and inside with some equipments addition too.
New front and rear bumpers, newly designed alloy wheels, bi xenon head lamps and color options for roof are some of the changes outside. On the inside, new steering wheel which is similar to the Octavia's 3 spoke steering is the only noticeable change. New features including keyless entry, climate control, new audio system, leather wrapped steering and seats ESP and hill hold system are some of the major changes.
Skoda Yeti comes with a 2.0 liter TDI engine only in diesel. Power output varies with engine. 4*2 gets 108.5 bhp motor and 4*4 gets 138 bhp motor. Gearbox is also different for different engines. While 4*2 gets 5 speed manual, 4*4 gets a 6 speed manual gearbox.
