Kawasaki has launched the green-white wrapped Ninja 300 in the Indian market. The good part is, there is no price hike for the special edition model and it retails at the same price as the all green Ninja 300, which is INR 3.61 lakhs (Ex-Showroom, Delhi). The new special-edition livery is identical to the last year’s 30th anniversary edition green-white color paint job. It also badges a special ‘Special-Edition’ tag near the fuel filler cap.
Comparing to the last year’s 30th anniversary model, this gets more of the green and white treatment. The bottom of the fairing is now painted with green instead of black, and the mid-section gets a broader white stickering. Apart from cosmetics, there is no mechanical changes and the bike still runs on a 296cc parallel-twin, Liquid-cooled, 4-stroke engine that churns out 38.8bhp of maximum power and 27Nm of peak torque. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed transmission. It directly competes with newly launched Yamaha YZF-R3 and KTM RC390 in the Indian market.
