There is a very healthy competition in the Indian car marketing between different brands of luxury car manufacturers; Audi, BMW and Mercedes Benz. Audi is trying very hard to capture higher share of this very lucrative segment and have announced to unveil in near future two models, remodeled a coupe RS 5 and Q 3 which is ‘assembled’ in the country. The new sports model ‘RS 5’ is made on the lines of ‘A 5’ the well known coupe model from the German manufacturers. The new refurbished model of the sports car was launched in 2012 at the motor show in ‘Geneva’.
The new model is bigger in width and a little lower. It comes with the same petrol injected four point two Litre V 8 engine made totally in Aluminium. The engine can go to a speed of 449.8 BHP. It can surge from 0 to 100 within 4.6 seconds. The drive system has ‘S tronic’ double clutch transmission. The highest speed is 280 KMPH.
The model has undergone modification to the exterior as well. The body is low and the front suspension comes in changed design. The ‘EPS’ has ‘electric power’ while in the old model it was hydraulic. The car enthusiasts can discern all the changes from the image posted on the Facebook page of Audi. The only other feature that can be seen from the image is the changed grille which now is ‘trapezoidal’. There is no specific information on the change in the interior and the prospective customers need to wait till the details are announced by the company.
The price for the vehicle is expected to be more than that sale model of ‘RS 5’. It is further announced that the customers will be offered options as well.
