South India’s first AMG Performance Centre inaugurated in Bengaluru

Mercedes Benz India is dead serious about creating a solid base for its AMG performance brand in the country. After launching its seventh AMG branded product, the ML63 in the market yesterday and opening the country’s first-ever AMG Performance Centre in the capital, the German automaker has inaugurated South India’s first such facility in the city of Bengaluru at Sundaram Motors. The local launch of the all-new 2014 Mercedes Benz ML63 AMG too, got underway at the same facility earlier today. The SUV will retail at Rs 1.52 crore (ex-showroom, Bengaluru.)

The facility at Bengaluru has now become the 376th such centre in the world and will be home to experts trained in sales and service at the AMG headquarters in Germany. The main focus of the AMG Performance Centre is to provide personalised service and the AMG product experience to its customers and consequently, bolster the range of performance-oriented AMG cars in India.

Commenting on the launch, Mr Mario Spitzner, director branding & marketing, Mercedes-AMG GmBH said,  “AMG has been on the forefront of delivering exceptional driving experience on and off the race track. This attitude of striving for more performance driving, always being one step ahead, takes a new dimension in India with the launch of our AMG Performance Center in Bengaluru. The AMG Performance Center will serve as the perfect place for performance car enthusiasts to experience and discover the right AMG car, concept and accessories for a perfect driving experience.”
