Fiat’s high performance division Abarth is all set to celebrate its 50th anniversary. As an icing to the bicentennial the brand will be offering a special high performance Abarth 595, that is fine tuned to the limit in every way possible, when compared with the standard 595. This limited special edition cannot be seen in the United States of America any time in near future. In 1963 at the Turin Motor Show the first ever Abarth 595, which is based on the Fiat 500 was displayed. Now this year’s Turin Motor Show will mark the 50th year of Abarth’s debut with the latest 595.
The 50th anniversary edition of the Abarth 595 is sprayed in a slick white matte paint, with red stripes and old school style logos. It placed on 17 inch silver plated aluminum wheels also with red stripes. These rims are covered by high performance racing tires that are practical and stylish. The body kit fixed is aggressively designed, which is currently ‘the’ concept to go with. Coming to the inside, the 595’s bucket seats are sheltered in cool red leather with white trims that match perfectly with the black and red themed upholstery of the whole interior. The race inspired steering wheel is also completely enclosed in leather.
The new 595 will enclose a 1.4 liter 4 cylinder turbocharged engine that has 180 Horsepower, which is 20 HP more than the standard 595. This enormous amount of power is transferred to the front wheels of the car by Abrath Competizione robotized manual paddle shifted gearbox. The suspension has also been re-tuned by the Scorpion brand and includes a huge brake package with 12 inch rotors under the Brembo multi piston calipers and high friction pads. The car will officially go on sale on the 15th of September 2013 and only 299 of them will ever be manufactured, but will go on sale only in Europe.
