Maruti Suzuki is in festive mood already and has launched the limited edition version of its strong-selling hatchback, the Wagon R in the market, called the Wagon R Krest. The car will get ten extra features which aim at providing the customer better value than the regular version of the car.

These features include a stylish front grille, stereo with Bluetooth, reverse parking sensors along with display, keyless central locking, seat covers, wheel covers, mud flaps, floor mats, body graphics and steering wheel cover.

Customers will have to pay an extra Rs 22,500 for these features which are worth Rs 32,500 in actual costs.

As with any special edition, the engine remains unchanged and the car will still come with the tried-and-tested 1-litre K-series petrol motor which develops 68bhp of power.

According to Manohar Bhat, VP (Marketing) Maruti Suzuki India Limited, these changes will make the Wagon R stand out from the regular version of the car and the features will make it a better deal for customer.

All in all, good time for hatchback buyers just ahead of the festive season in India.
