According to a report from the Detroit Free Press, Dutch sports car manufacturer Spyker rolled out its high performance based sports luxury car, the B6 Venator at the Geneva motor show 2013. The car labelled as Spyker B6 Venator Spyder Concept is now put into production and made its debut in Pebble Beach. The company declared that the car will be available in the main markets of Asia, Europe and Middle East at the end of the next year. The car is marked with a price of $150,000.
Venator is a two doored , with the same styling and design as that of the Coupe. The engine used is a V6 transverse mounted which produces a power of 375hp this is the same one used in the Coupe model. It uses the 6 speed automated transmission which propels the rear wheels. The exterior body of the car is fabricated with carbon fiber based on the all aluminium platforms. The use of carbon makes the vehicle weigh about 3,085 pounds which is lighter the usual ones. The radiator grille is V shaped and consists of the Spyker logo on it. The headlights are filled with the LED rails and these give the car a glamorous look. The rear end lights are 3D LED and are inspired from the fighter aircraft. The brake lights are embedded into the panel design which keep the design lines flowing. The Turbofan wheels on the vehicle are polished.
The interior of the car is designed with the finest materials. The leather used is Litano range, manufactured by the company Royal Hulshof Dutch Tanneries. The dashboard is with an aluminium fascia, similar to the speakers used during the 1920’s. The ignition switch is enclosed with a red cover which gives the driver an interest in starting an airplane. The mechanism used for the gear change is a inspired by the Spyker’s aviation.
