Suzuki Motorcycle India Private Limited (SMIPL) has silently launched the alloy wheel and drum brake variant of Access 125 at an introductory price of Rs 59,891 (Ex. Showroom, Delhi) in the country. Before the launch of this new variant, only the disc brake variant of the scooter used to feature alloy wheels. The existing drum brake variant rides on sheet-metal wheels while priced at Rs 57,909 (Ex. Showroom, Delhi), which is nearly Rs 1,982 lesser than the newly launched variant.
Suzuki had launched Access 125 SE with subtle cosmetic updates and new features last month, but it was only offered in top-spec trim with disc brakes. However, presently, the special edition also comes with drum brakes with price starting at Rs 61,590 (Ex. Showroom, Delhi). Suzuki Access 125 is offered in four colours: Pearl Suzuki Deep Blue, Glass Sparkle Black, Metallic Matt Fibroin Gray and Pearl Mirage White. The SE variant gets a few extra bells and whistles in the form of the coloured seat, the special edition badge and black alloy wheels. Also, the chrome mirrors distinguish it from the standard variants of Access 125. It also features a power socket for mobile charging as standard, while it comes as optional with other variants.

Mechanically, all the variants of Suzuki Access 125 are powered by the same 124cc single-cylinder petrol engine which develops top power of 8.7bhp and peak torque of 10.2Nm. The scooter is the company's one of the most successful and popular models in the Indian market. Suzuki Access 125 challenges the likes of Honda Activa 125, TVS Ntorq 125 and Hero Pleasure.
