- Suzuki Gixxer 250 will arrive in Fully Faired and Naked versions

As done in the past, Suzuki will introduce a naked version of this bike which will be followed by the fully faired version later. Considering the range in which currently 250 cc motorcycles are selling, we expect Suzuki Gixxer 250 price to fall between Rs. 1.40 Lakhs and Rs. 1.70 Lakhs (Ex-Showroom). On the design front, nothing can be said firmly as the teaser doesn’t reveal much about the bike, however, the inspiration might come from the Suzuki GSX-250R and Suzuki GSX-S300 for fully faired and naked versions respectively. It is also expected that the new bike will not be a makeover of the current gen bike, but will be an entirely new product.

At the heart, there will be a 2 Valve, single cylinder, Air/Oil cooled engine backed by a radiator unit. We also expect a 6-speed transmission here. Though the performance might not be as good as the competition with 23-24 PS of power delivery. The inclusion of a radiator unit might add some extra bucks to the Gixxer’s price.

The market of 250 cc bikes is heating in the country. With an increase in people’s choice of investing in bikes, manufacturers are coming up with 250cc bikes. Once launched, the Suzuki Gixxer 250 naked and faired version will compete with Yamaha FZ25, Yamaha Fazer, and KTM 250 Duke. Both bikes will come equipped with great features including LED headlamps, fully digital instrument cluster, and fuel injection system. On the safety front, a dual channel ABS will do its duty to put a safer halt to the bike.
