Suzuki India has finally launched the Gixxer SF 250 MotoGP Edition at a price of Rs 1.71 Lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi) today. Recently, Suzuki has also introduced the Gixxer SF 150 MotoGP Edition that is priced at Rs 1.10 Lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi). The Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 MotoGP Edition comes in blue paint scheme along with fluorescent wheels’ rim tape and Ecstar decals.
The Gixxer SF 250 price in India is Rs 1.71 Lakhs (ex-showroom) and a standard variant of MotoGP Edition also has the same price. The SF 250 follows a new styling and its sharp looks make it a head-turner for sure.
In terms of Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 specs, the bike comes with a 249cc oil-cooled SOHC fuel-injected single-cylinder engine that produces a peak power of 26bhp@9,000 rpm and a max torque of 22.6Nm@7,500rpm. The engine is paired with a six-speed transmission system.
The motorcycle utilizes an oil-cooling system known as Suzuki Oil Cooling System (SOCS) which provides good cooling. Also, the bike comes with new features like an LED tail lamp and LED headlamp, fully digital LCD instrument cluster, clip-on handlebar and split seats.
The Gixxer SF 250 MotoGP Edition gets a preload-adjustable mono-shock set up at the rear and conventional telescopic fork at the front. Talking of the braking responsibilities, the bike uses a 230 mm disc brake at the rear and a 300mm disc brake at the front. Standard safety features include a dual-channel Anti-lock braking system.
The motorcycle comes with impressive 17-inch alloy wheels at both ends, including 110/70 R17 tyre at the front and 150/60 R17 tyre at the rear. The Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 MotoGP Edition will take upon the likes of Honda CBR 250R and Yamaha Fazer 25.
