Suzuki GSX-R250 to be showcased at the upcoming Tokyo Motor Show
Snapshot: Though there are no technical or mechanical specifications of the motorcycle available, but it is believed that GSX-R will be using the same power unit from the Inazuma 250 producing around 35-36bhp.
Almost every major motorcycle manufacturer has launched one or the other offering in a segment higher than the 200cc category. Be it the Honda, Kawasaki, KTM or Yamaha, everyone has already placed their cards in this segment. The only company which is awaited in this segment is Suzuki, and it looks like the Japanese auto maker is ready to conquer the market with its newly built weapon, GSX-R250.
Previously the rendered image was introduced in the market some time back by the Japanese automobile publication, Young Machines magazine and now the fresh image is seen to be arrived from MotoBlast.org. News from some of our sources has confirmed that Suzuki will be showcasing the quarter-litre GSX-R in the upcoming Tokyo Motor Show that is about to start in few days. Though there are no technical or mechanical specifications of the motorcycle available, but it is believed that GSX-R will be using the same power unit from the Inazuma 250 producing around 35-36bhp.
From the rendering, the motorcycle looks pleasing and ready to take on anything in its competition. The twin robotic headlamps at the front looks absolutely stunning and the well sculpted chunky fuel tank gives the motorcycle a beefy look. The GSX-R 250 carries the same styling inspired from its bigger litre segment sibling (apart from the front ofcourse).
If the reports are true and Suzuki manages to showcase the quarter-litre Gixxer at the upcoming shows like Tokyo Motor Show and EICMA, Milan. Suzuki will surely look forward to launch the same in India as well to go hard against its natural competitors like KTM, Honda, Kawasaki and Yamaha.
