Suzuki 2-Wheelers India is all set to drop a bombshell next year as it is planning to introduce the new generation Gixxer which has been one of the most famous motorcycles of the segment since it was introduced almost 5 years back. We can already sense fear running down the spine of competitor brands such as Honda, Yamaha, and Bajaj Auto. Suzuki has made big plans for the next year as the company is also planning on launching the bigger capacity Gixxer (250) which will lock horns with the Yamaha FZ25, and the KTM 250 Duke.
Talking about the expected updates, the new Gixxer will be fully transformed from head to toe and will be introduced with much sharper and sportier looks than the current generation bike, which anyways is a good looking motorcycle already. It is expected to receive a bunch of new design updates in the form of LED headlamps, a modern all-digital display (which will be different from the current one), the Suzuki Easy Start System and split seats.
Few of the major elements that the new bike will possibly share with the current Gixxer will be its engine, chassis, suspension, and brakes. On the pricing front, the current generation Gixxer retails at Rs 87,250 (ex-showroom, Delhi, ABS variant), and the new one might cost a bit more depending upon the updates it receives.
