Red Bull in collaboration with Suzuki Motorcycle India Private Limited (SMIPL) is organising the 5th edition of Red Bull Campus Cricket (RBCC). The tournament has already begun from 29th February and is taking place across 24 Indian cities including Kolkata, Chandigarh, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Baroda, Ahmedabad, Pune, Nagpur, Goa, Jalandhar, Delhi, Jaipur, Jammu, Dehradun, Chennai, Coimbatore, Hyderabad, Cochin, Vizag, Guwahati, Ranchi, Bhubaneswar, Lucknow and Indore. From these 24 cities, a total of 96 college teams are going head to head to win the title and final teams will compete against each other on 22nd of this month.
This is a great way to motivate the youngsters towards sports and also Suzuki will be awarding 7 Gixxer 150cc motorcycle to tournament’s best performers. The Gixxer 150 is among the most admired motorcycles in the 150cc street-naked category and it is a segment leader in this class. It is powered from a 154.9cc, 4-stroke, single cylinder, air-cooled mill that churns out 14.59bhp of power at 8,000rpm and 14Nm of torque at 6,000rpm. Suzuki also showcased the new rear-disc Gixxer at the AutoExpo 2016 who’s launched is scheduled for the upcoming months and will be priced slightly higher than the current single-disc Gixxer 150.
