The Japanese automaker, Suzuki, is all set to introduce the new generation Access 125 in the Indian market on 15th March. The new 2016 Access 125 was showcased by the company at the AutoExpo 2016 and the scooter received a slew of cosmetics as well as mechanical changes. The new Access 125 gets a redesigned headlamp that gives the scooter more of a retro-modern look. The side-panels along with the turn-indicators have been redesigned as well. So cosmetically the new Access 125 is a major upgrade compared to the previous generation Access 125.

Talking about its engine, though it still propels the same 125cc single cylinder motor that delivers 8.6bhp of maximum power and 10.2Nm of peak torque. The engine is now equipped with the SEP technology which is also known as ‘Suzuki Eco Performance.’ As the name suggests the ‘SEP’ will help the scooter to achieve a better performance and fuel economy. Also Suzuki has embedded a digital panel on the instrument cluster for ODO meter readings and service time indicator. Apart from that the new 2016 Access 125 also gets single push starter, reworked engine, alloy wheels, optional DC socket, telescopic front forks and new colours to choose from. When launched we expect it to hit a price tag of around Rs 53,000.
