The Japanese auto maker, Suzuki, introduced their new Access 125 and the Hayate EP in the Indian market at the AutoExpo 2016. According to the reports, the company is looking forward to launch the same by April this year. From visuals to mechanicals, both the Hayate EP and the Access 125 has went through a lot of changes. The Hayate EP have received a fresh version of the diamond frame that has a longer wheelbase.
That aside, also the engine has been updated for a better fuel efficiency and over-all performance. Its 112cc single-cylinder engine churns out 8.7bhp of maximum power and 9.3Nm of peak torque. The bike also comes with updated paint scheme and new decals. It also gets new seats, new preload adjustable rear springs, tubeless tyres and a maintenance free battery.
Talking about the Access 125, Suzuki has heavily updated it from head to toe. It gets a front apron, redesigned bodywork and revised chrome-rimmed headlamp. It also propels a new 125cc single-cylinder engine that delivers 8.7bhp and 10Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a CVT transmission and is loaded with Suzuki Eco Performance (SEP) technology that help the engine runs more efficiently.
When launched, Access 125 will lock horns with Honda Activa 125, the upcoming Mahindra Gutso 125 and Yamaha Fascino. While the Hayate EP will compete against other commuters like TVS Victor, Mahindra Centuro and Hero Passion XPro. Hit us with your views on the same in the comment section below.
