Suzuki, the Japanese motor company, has unveiled the premium scooter for the Indian enthusiasts at the Auto Expo 2018, named as the Burgman Street. It is the first time that the Burgman brand, in association with Suzuki’s flagship scooter family, is coming to the domestic market. Alongside the Burgman Street, the manufacturer has also launched the new middleweight naked motorcycle, named as GSX S750.
The Burgman Street is a feature-rich scooter that brings the Burgman formula of luxurious design and utmost comfort. The design is inspired by the premium scooters of the Burgman range, which Suzuki sells abroad in the 125, 200, 400 and 650 cc segment.
As expected, the two-wheeler gets the same engine specs as that of the Access 125. The engine capacity is 124cc and develops a maximum power of 8.58 bhp at 7,000 revolutions per minute. Along with this, the scooter is seen flaunting LED head and tail lamps mounted on the apron. For safety purpose, there is a standard front disc with combined brakes. At the front, an LCD display is provided to indicate all the essential readings. Apart from all these, a 12V charging port is available to help you in the time of phone’s low battery. The premium scooter is available in three distinct colours with a much attractive look.
Another product, the GSX S750 is a naked motorcycle that has been powered by a 749cc liquid-cooled, inline four-cylinder engine, which is capable enough to develop a power of 113 bhp. The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox. Interestingly, it is the same unit that serves the duty in Suzuki GSX-R750. The motorbike also gets a bunch of new features like ABS and three modes traction control.
Alongside, the Burgman Street and GSX, the Japanese motor company has been unveiling many more exciting models at the Auto Expo 2018 in order to increase its footprints further in the Indian market.
