Two years after the death of Massimo Tamburini, the brilliant motorcycle designer who gave birth to the major Italian masterpieces like Ducati 916 and MV Agusta F4, his Son Andrea carried out his last project- Tamburini T12 Massimo Superbike, a four-cylinder track based bike that is called "the dream.

This Superbike uses the engine of the BMW S 1000 RR with 230 hp power. And that expresses the ultimate motoring vision of Tamburini himself. A triumph of ultralight elements dominated by the carbon fiber (so much so that the claimed dry weight is 154.5 kg) worked with numerical control machines and first-class components where the special suspension Ohlins GP and l ' Brembo brakes with monoblock calipers P4 GP 34/38.

The real technical jewel of this T12 is a trellis frame with steel from the military and elements of magnesium alloy. On the trellis, in the area of the steering tube, a patented device has been assembled (including the technical details) they were not disclosed which makes variable transverse rigidity. This bike was launched with a whopping price tag of €300,000 (2.26 crore approx) making it the most expensive production bike.
