Tata Aria price reduced by Rs. 1 Lakh

Snapshot: Tata Aria is now priced at Rs. 8.95 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom, Delhi) after the 1 lakh price reduction.

Tata Motors, in an unexpected turn of events, has slashed the price of its Aria crossover by Rs. 1 Lakh. Tata Aria is now priced at Rs. 8.95 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom, Delhi). It seems like the company intends to kill two birds with one stone as this highly tempting move will not only bring more buyers and boost up the sales during the festive season, but it would also act like an image makeover for the crossover.

This is not the first time that Tata had reduced the price of Aria as the company did the same in April 2014, when the price was brought down by Rs. 1 Lakh. The company also launched a facelift version of the crossover earlier this year. Tata Aria is powered by a 2.2-litre, four-cylinder VariCor turbo diesel engine which is capable of generating a top power of 148 bhp in accordance with a peak torque of 320Nm. It comes mated with a 5-speed manual gearbox which transmits the power to all the four wheels of the crossover, however, it is limited to the top-end trim only. The company claims a fuel efficiency of 15.05kmpl for the Aria under standard conditions (ARAI Certified).

The Aria crossover boasts an array of premium and exquisite features such as NAVTEQ Navigation System, Rain sensing butterfly wipers and Auto sensing headlamps, Cruise control, Advance Climate Control System - Dual AC with FATC, Harmon Kardon music system with 10 JBL Speakers - 6 speakers plus 4 tweeters etc. to name a few. In terms of safety, it comes loaded with 6 Airbags, Electronic Stability Program (ESP), Traction Control System (TCS), Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), and Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD).
