Tata motors has developed an app named ‘Juke’ which creates a virtual network through your phone's hotspot, and it allows one or more users to share and play audio files on the SUV’s in car entertainment system (ICE).
‘Navimaps’ is also a great addition in the app list. This app mirrors your phone’s navigation on the SUV’s display using the screen mirroring feature of your phone. Additionally this app can also be used offline which makes it a great app.
You can also connect your car's infotainment system to your smartphone, by using ‘Tata smart remote’ app. In this case phone can also be used as a remote to control the infotainment system. For example, this app lets you change songs, channels on the radio and control the volume.
The Indian carmaker also wants make sure that the after sales service are no longer a nightmare for the customers. So it has launched an app named ‘Service connect’ which brings the after-sales service at the fingertips of the customers. One can schedule a service appointment, tracking their expenses and even call for emergency assistance.
In order to save trees and make the world a better place to live, the company has developed an interactive digital manual that has all the important information regarding your car. This app is named as ‘Tata smart manual’ and it provides visual and voice assistance through your smartphone.
