Tata Motors is prepping to launch its first mass-market micro SUV, Tata H2X (Hornbill) in the country in the coming months. Based on the H2X concept, the Mahindra KUV100 rival will be slotted below Tata’s sub-four-meter SUV, Nexon in its line-up. For those not in the know, the H2X concept was first previewed at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show.
The Tata H2X (Hornbill) SUV will sport Tata’s evolved IMPACT 2.0 design tenet. Interestingly, it will be the third model after Harrier and upcoming Altroz premium hatchback to get Tata’s new design theme. Also, Hornbill will become the second Tata car to underpin the new Agile Light Flexible Advanced (ALFA) platform, which will be used to spawn new models in future.
