The Tata Harrier was launched earlier this year amidst much fanfare and sales have been positive for the compact SUV over the past six months. However, the Harrier did have its own share of niggles that the first set of owners faced and the automaker has now silently rolled out updates for the SUV that iron out most niggles. According to a leaked document, Tata Motors has made revisions to the NVH levels, touchscreen system, steering response and the clutch. The issues were noted by the media as part of its test drives as well as the customers, and the company seems to be responding to the feedback received. Several owners have also pointed out that dealerships replaced certain parts as part of the free service.

The leaked image clearly shows that the updates made in the Tata Harrier would include an updated software version, R10.X for the infotainment system that rectifies the earlier blacked screen issue. The next improvement is the NVH level that has been reduced to make the cabin more silent from the outside noise that emanates into the cabin. Specifically, the engine noise penetrates above 3000 rpm. The steering system has been given more accuracy for better feedback. Tata engineers also worked on the clutch as well, making its action lighter and reduce effort. These all enhancement has been made by Tata Motors after having a one on one discussion with media personnel for their feedback, in order to offer an improved product.
