Earlier, we told you that the Tata Hexa SUV will launch in the Indian car market to replace slow selling Aria by July 2016. The premium SUV was spotted for the first time in white colour and along with a black colour variant that was showcased at the Auto Expo 2016 and Geneva Motor Show 2016. The car is based on the Aria’s modified platform and is designed by the company’s in-house engineers with contribution from Tata Motor’s design teams in Italy, UK and Pune.
Looking at the spy shot, both the cars to be in a final production-spec model featuring smoked headlamps, black glossy grille and black alloy wheels. The Black coloured model seems to sport LED daytime running light strip housed in the fog lamp enclosures, while the white one feature a black wing mirror housings. In terms of features, it is expected to be equipped with projector headlamps, multi-information display, different lighting moods, automatic climate control, 4 driving modes, Steering mounted controls, 6-way adjustable driver seat, cruise control, follow me headlamps and 19-inch alloy wheels.
Mechanically, the Tata Hexa premium SUV is expected to power packed with a the 2.2-litre VARICOR 400 diesel unit that will pump out 156PS and 400Nm of torque. The engine will be connected to a 6-speed transmission.
