Tata Motors launched the power steering equipped, Nano Twist, yesterday in India. The car has gotten the first crucial technical change since its inception that now makes it easier to drive in the city traffic, especially for the female drivers. The Nano Twist features an electro-mechanical power steering that company has sourced from the well-known auto components manufacturer, ZF Friedrichshafen. The company has continuously improving the Nano since its launch in the Indian market, however the company has not succeeded in achieving the expected targets for the product.

Interestingly, to improve the presence of the Nano in the market and to make the car perfect for the city drives, the company is likely to launch Nano with automatic transmission. The auto transmission
