Tata Motors Deliver 1100 Cars in One Day

Snapshot: Of the 1,100 cars, Tata Motors has delivered more than 700 cars in Maharashtra, and nearly 400 cars in the states of Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Gujarat

Tata Motors, the home-grown automaker, delivered 1100 cars in the states of Maharashtra, Gujarat, Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh on the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, yesterday. Of the 1,100 cars, Tata Motors has delivered more than 700 cars in Maharashtra, and nearly 400 cars in the states of Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Gujarat respectively in one day. The Company has witnessed an upswing in demand from cities like Mumbai, Pune, Nagpur, Raipur and Bhopal, with the start of the festive season.

According to Mr. Ashesh Dhar, National Sales Head, Passenger Vehicles Business, Tata Motors, “The festive season exudes enthusiasm, excitement, anticipation, and energy. With the beginning of this auspicious festival, we are proud and humbled by the support and trust provided by our customers. We are excited to be a part of this celebration by delivering the joy of mobility to so many families. With the Zest, Bolt and the GenX Nano witnessing growing momentum in the market, we yet again, confidently testify the value and trust we offer to our customers.” Just so you know, the company is offering exciting festive season packages for its passenger vehicles, to boost the consumer sentiments.

Tata Motors, as told several times before, would launch 2 new vehicles every year in India till 2020. The company launched Zest and Bolt in FY15, while it is expected to launch Kite twins in FY16. For those wondering, Tata Motors would launch a compact hatchback and a compact sedan (codenamed Kite twins) in the country to replace the ageing Indica hatch and Indigo compact sedan, respectively. Additionally, the home-grown automaker is also expected to unveil the production version of the Nexon compact SUV at the 2016 Auto Expo in February, exactly at the same venue where the Nexon concept was unveiled two years ago. Moreover, the company has also plans to launch the Hexa premium crossover in the country to take on the Mahindra XUV500, and the same has been spied as test mule on the Indian roads.
