Tata Motors has rolled out its 50,000th units of the Nexon compact SUV from the Ranjangaon facility. The Tata Nexon achieves this feat in less than one year as the car was launched in September 2017. Clearly, this achievement points out to the success story of the Tata Nexon. The compact SUV not only grabbed everyone’s attention, but it also gave the automaker a strong hold in its own segment where several tough rivals are already there.
The Tata Nexon boasts a fluid design based on the Impact design language. It gets projector headlamps, integrated LED daytime running lights, crisp character lines, compact taillights, sporty alloy wheels. The ceramic trim running below the glass area shows, how the SUV remained loyal to the original concept showcased at the 2014 Delhi auto Expo.
Inside the cabin, Tata Nexon features dual-pod instrument cluster, multifunction steering wheel, floating dashtop touchscreen infotainment system, impressive quality seat and upholstery materials. Ample space is on offer from the car ensuring a comfortable experience for the occupants.
Available in both petrol and diesel options, the Nexon gets a 1.2-litre petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual gearbox and a 6-speed AMT as well. Both the engines generate ample power and torque output alongside impressive mileage.
